One of the most-requested AIM improvements has finally occurred - the
AIM "profile" size has been increased from 1K to 2K. Away message size
is increased to 2K as well, although you will have to use AIM Triton to
set a > 1K away message.

Sweet. So many times I've run out of room in my profile because of the hidden HTML when I change the text color a lot.
Why is there a limit anyways? Its just an html file that sits in a hidden directory on the hard drive.
If all you want to do is look at your own profile, there is no limit. But if you want others to be able to see your profile, then it has to be uploaded to our servers, where it takes up RAM. And with the numbers of users we have, that ends up being a fair amount of RAM just for profiles. That's why there is a limit.

i put my profile to size 8 or 10 and it shows up looking like size 40 or something. ? wtffff
